Magnolia Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

Magnolia Bakery recipe.
I only used 3/4 of the stated sugar quantity- and they turned out plenty sweet once the frosting was on.
The cake was nice and fluffy- good texture, density and moistness.
Frosting was luscious and creamy.
VERY reminiscent of childhood birthday parties.
For a vanilla on vanilla cupcake- these are good, but my personal preference is for something more flavoursome.
